HeliMods this week welcomed the Hon Mark Ryan MP, Queensland Minister for Police and Corrective Services to our facility.
Minister Ryan came to see the two new state-of-the-art Agusta Westland AW139 helicopters, which are currently undergoing a multi-mission fit-out at HeliMods and will be delivered to the State of Queensland in the next month. The aircraft will have multiple roles, including Emergency Medical Service, Search and Rescue and Public Safety configurations.
HeliMods is integrating a number of systems into the aircraft, including stretcher systems, medical equipment and storage, medical oxygen, operating theatre quality lighting and medical electrical systems. The fully integrated and modular solution is also compatible with neonatal incubators and zero lift loading technology, ready for safe and efficient critical care patient transfers.
